Psychology of a +300% daytrade: 13marketmoves student talks about psychology of his Friday daytrade

Hey guys, first of all, I want to say that I'm extremely grateful that I ran into 13 market moves formula, that I've had the opportunity to be coached. But Chris. Um, so before I talk about the trade and everything else, I just wanted to just take the time to say, Chris, thank you for all you do, man. I really appreciate it. I know they're crazy, but, um, you know, you've been coaching me through to my crazy trading psychology.

So again, thank you so much. I really appreciate that. And, um, you know, shout out to you and the whole 13 Market Moves team. Um, you guys really kill it and you know, I'm learning tons, uh, about the strategies and, you know, with all of the courses that I've taken with you guys, it's just, uh, you know, incredible. Um, so let's talk about the trade.

Um, so again, you know, Chris has been coaching me through everything, especially my trading psychology, right? So, um, we took a trade with snow of puts. So as you can see here, um, I went with, uh, 10 contracts talk to 70 strike, um, and then around 10:52 AM, uh, I took another, uh, you know, just one, one contract, uh, two 75 strike for a total of 11 contracts.

So the tricky part here again, um, was my psychology where there was a time, um, probably around like 3:00 PM where I literally wanted to get out of the trade. Um, you know, th the, the stock, um, retested that to 75 to 76 area right there.

See what time was that? Yeah, that was like two, maybe two 30, three o'clock. And I was, I was about to literally exit the position, but he said, listen, just stay, uh, you know, just the, you know, the move is going to happen. There's no reason for you to get out. Um, and he stayed on the phone with me for a while. I couldn't even look at this, uh, at the screen anymore.

Cause I was, you know, again, my psychology is crazy, so, uh, I kind of wanted to get out of the trade, but, uh, he, you know, he basically just said, no, stay, no matter what, stay in the trade, stay in the trade. So long story short I did. And the crazy part about this is that act TD Ameritrade. They actually sold my positions for me. Um, so you can see here.

I basically, I mean the return was not bad, but I did leave a lot of money on the table. Um, there was an explanation as to why they sold it for me. Uh, the risk and the contracts were expiring today. They said, I should have given them a call, uh, whatever it is, the story with TD Ameritrade, but, uh, it doesn't really matter. Um, but it was a great freaking trade. 

I was able to, uh, as you can see here, the return was not bad at all. It was pretty good. It could have been, could have been better. Uh, yes, but, um, you know, it is what it is, but the point I'd really wanted to make is, um, as you can see here did move, you know, it was just the crazy move that, uh, that happened with, with snow and, you know, I'm just excited, you know, uh, and grateful being able to, to be coached by someone like Chris and, and, and again, you know, learning all these strategies is just, uh, just an amazing opportunity for me.

Um, and you know, with all of the courses that 13 market moves course, the charts and divergencies, uh, they burdensome, you know, it's just, uh, some, you know, the knowledge that, that I've gotten to, you know, to learn from, um, you know, from all of this is just amazing, but, uh, I'm looking forward to next week and, you know, looking forward to killing it, uh, with the next couple of trades.
